   Dale Joseph, son of Sylvester William and Ardella Catherine (Bluml) Irlbeck, was born April 23, 1949, at St. Anthony Hospital in Carroll, Iowa. His family lived at Halbur until he was six. They then moved to a farm near Templeton where he attended grade school at Sacred Heart School. After graduating from Kuemper Catholic High School in 1967, Dale attended vocational school at Lincoln Technical Services in Des Moines.    Dale then worked as a diesel mechanic for Crouse Cartage Company of Carroll. In 1978, he moved to Greeley, Colorado, and worked for Ellis and Capp Heavy Equipment Company. In 2002 Dale returned to Templeton and worked at the Tall Corn Ethanol plant for nearly 2 years before settling in as a general maintenance person for West Central Co-op in Templeton.    Dale was interested in old coins, vintage firearms and motorcycles. He enjoyed watching old movies and cooking.    On Sunday, October 22, 2006, Dale died unexpectedly at his home in Templeton, Iowa. He was 57 years, 5 months and 29 days of age.    Dale is preceded in death by his grandparents; father and a sister-in-law Glenda Irlbeck.    He is survived by his mother Ardella Irlbeck of Templeton; siblings: Joan Seddon of Templeton; Don Irlbeck of Templeton; Jan and husband Jack Wafful of Fort Dodge; Mike Irlbeck and wife Mern of Carroll; Gary Irlbeck and wife Shell of Templeton; Kevin Irlbeck and wife Lynn of Carroll; Joleen and husband Tony Janssen of Glidden: 13 nieces & nephews; other relatives and friends.
