Danny’s Friends

    Danny Wilbur, son of Carl and Bonnie (Hill) Pettry, was born September 25, 1970, in Carroll, Iowa. He grew up in Coon Rapids and attended Coon Rapids schools.

   Not afraid to work, Danny was employed mostly as a laborer for Garst and Thomas, as well as McDonalds and area hog confinements. For many years he supplemented his income by collecting many cans.

   Danny enjoyed animals, especially horses, pigs and rabbits, also figure 8 racing, mushroom hunting in the timbers, and collecting piggy banks.

   On Wednesday, April 3, 2019, Danny passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in Yale, Iowa. He was 48 years, 6 months and 9 days of age.

   Danny is survived by his mother Bonnie Wailes and brother Carl Dean Pettry, both of Coon Rapids. He was preceded in death by his father Carl Pettry, an uncle Ronald Hill, his grandparents, and numerous aunts and uncles.
