PIUS CHURCH, MOBERLY, MISSOURI SUNSET HILL CEMETERY, MADISON, MISSOURI Delores Ann, daughter of Raymond C. and V. Juanita (Haley) McCann, was born April 26, 1936 at Middle Grove, MO. She grew up in Missouri and graduated from Madison High School. Delores worked as a secretary for Orscheln Brothers Truck Line for 17 years and then Champaign National Bank. She was the mother of three children. After residing in Missouri for 59 years and Illinois for 13 years, she moved to Iowa in 2012 to live with her daughter. Delores was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Bayard. For a number of years she was a member of the Moose Lodge. Delores was a social butterfly, enjoying dancing, walking, good music, her flowers and visiting with all her friends. Over the years Delores took many interesting trips. She especially took pleasure in the activities of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, attending baseball games, swim meets and school programs. When she could no longer remain at her daughter's home due to failing health, she became a resident of Thomas Rest Haven Nursing Home in Coon Rapids. She was admitted to St. Anthony Hospital in Carroll and died there on Friday, February 20, 2015 at the age of 78 years, 9 months and 25 days. Preceding Delores in death are her parents; sister Evelyn F. Beamer and husband Karl G. Wilson. She is survived by her children David W. Southern (Sherry) of Hazard, KY; Julie A. Cooper (Gary) of Ogden, IL; and Kimberlee K. McAlister (Kelly) of Coon Rapids; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; three brothers: Michael McCann, Donald (Judy) McCann and Mark McCann; other relatives and friends.
