Ellen S. Richardson died at peace on April 19, 2013, at the Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha with her children at her side. Born June 1, 1925, in Chicago, Illinois, she enjoyed a life rich with blessings and good humor. A longtime resident, she and her husband, Dr. H.K. A sixty year member of P.E.O., a women's service organization, she served twice as president. She seldom missed helping out at the polls and blood banks, and she never missed sending a friend a well-chosen birthday card, thank you note, or note of condolence.
