Florence Limbrecht

Florence Ann, daughter of Florence Clara Hagan was born March 14, 1933, in Carroll, Iowa. She grew up in Carroll and attended Carroll High School, she then attended St. Angela's School of Nursing before marriage. Florence was united in marriage with Arthur Limbrecht in Chicago where the couple resided. Two children were born to this union. The couple later divorced and Florence moved back to Carroll. She worked at JC Penny's for a number of years and enjoyed setting the mannequin displays. Florence later worked at the GE Plant for 26 years until retiring upon its closing. Florence moved to Lake View for her retirement and enjoyed spending time on the Pontoon. She loved to go to auctions and house sales looking for anything to add to her collection. Florence's main collection was her saucers and cups. She enjoyed spending time with her friends especially if it meant being able to get out on the lake. Florence passed away at her home unexpectedly on January 31, 2014, at the age of 80 years, 10 months and 17 days. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter Glenda Irlbeck in 2002 and son Scott Limbrecht in 2005. Florence is survived by her grandson Austin Irlbeck of Templeton, IA; son in law Don Irlbeck of Templeton, IA; other relatives and friends.
