He started Esdohr Construction in 1970 doing sealcoating. In 1995 he sold this business and retired, but continued working with the new company until he retired again in 2017. George cherished the acquaintances and relationships he made with the many customers he worked with throughout the years.
George was a member of the Gurney Parker Post #357 of the American Legion in Coon Rapids. Throughout the years, George served on the Coon Rapids School Board and Coon Rapids Golf Course Board. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, scorekeeping for basketball games, playing cribbage, gardening, tending his fruit trees, and taking fishing trips to Minnesota. Above all, George loved his family.
