Olivet Cemetery Carroll, Iowa Georgene Clara, daughter of Orrin G. and Cecelia (Feller) Buddin, was born June 21, 1939 at Carroll, Iowa. She attended St. Lawrence Elementary School and then graduated from Kuemper High School in 1958. Georgene worked at Tony's Restaurant for 25 years and was a member of the New Hope Family since 1985. Through her work she had many acquaintances in the Carroll community. She loved her New Hope Family and loved participating in the many New Hope activities, especially the dances and movies. Throughout her life, Georgene loved being around children and babies and enjoyed the many family get togethers. She was a lifelong member of St. Lawrence Parish. In November of 2014 when her health began to fail, she became a resident of the Carroll Health Center. She died there on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the age of 75 years, 8 months and 5 days. Preceding her in death are her parents; sisters Marge Janssen and Kay Broich; brothers Larry Buddin and Everett Butch' Buddin; and nephew Bill Haukap. Georgene is survived by her sister Barbara Patty' Dilliner of Audubon, IA; brothers Roger (Wanda) Buddin of Ollie, IA and Russell (Deann) Buddin of Lake View,IA; brother in law Duane Broich of Carroll, IA; sisters in law Barbara Buddin of Alabama and Mary Buddin of Texas; many special nieces and nephews.
