JAMES HENRY MURRANE, JR., son of James Henry and Mae (McDonald) Murrane, was born March 23, 1925, at Bayard, Iowa. A friend to everyone, Jim always maintained a positive attitude and even-tempered disposition. Jim was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Bayard. Due to declining health Jim moved to assisted-living and then the Thomas Rest Haven nursing home in Coon Rapids in the spring of 2014. He died there on October 2, 2014 at the age of 89 years, 6 months and 9 days.
