Jaylene Parker

August 22, 1963 — January 2, 2015

Jaylene Denise Parker was born in French Camp, California, on August 22, 1963. Jaylene left us, to be with our Lord on January 2, 2015, at Coon Rapids, Iowa. Jaylene is survived by her sister, Phyllis Lago (Phil); her sister Ceci Carter; her nephews; Jason List (Jalayne), Bryan List (Erin), Phillip Lago (Michelle), Dana Cook (Rochelle Pevestorf); her nieces Cecile' Fulton and Tawny Coil; and many great nephews and nieces. Jaylene was preceded in death by her father, Jay Parker; her mother, Helen Parker; her brother-in-law, Lloyd Carter; and her grandparents, Roy and Gladys Newcomb. Jaylene was one of the most loving people ever, and she never knew a stranger. Once you met her, you became her friend, and you could look forward to a hug every time she saw you. She loved deeply and would do anything for anyone, expecting nothing in return. Jaylene loved helping her nephew Jason, cook, and loved baking and playing cards with her sister Phyllis. She really enjoyed keeping in contact with family, especially her sister Ceci. She celebrated her love of travel and seeing new places by taking her first airplane flight just this past summer. She was crazy about football and watched every game she could. Her favorite team was the 49ers, and she could tell you all of their stats without blinking an eye. But, most of all, Jaylene was strong. She endured so much in her short life, yet she always had a positive attitude. Her smile was infectious, and her hugs and kisses will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
