John A. Wiederin, 80, of Sergeant Bluff, IA and formerly of Carroll, IA passed away Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017 at an Omaha, NE hospital of complication from Alzheimer’s.    Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017 at the Church of the Nativity in Sioux City. Graveside services and interment will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Carroll, IA. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday with the family present 6-8 p.m. and a vigil service at 7 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel, 6200 Morningside Ave. Condolences may be offered online and a full obituary may be viewed at www.meyerbroschapels.com.
