Kim M. Vonnahme

Kim M. Vonnahme, 47, Wausau,WI, died on November 22, 2015 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, following a year long battle with cancer.  She was born February 12, 1968 in Guthrie Center, Iowa, daughter of the late Mary (Lammers) Vonnahme and the late Wayne Vonnahme.  Kim graduated from Northeast Missouri State University in May of 1990.   Following her graduation, she began working for the Wisconsin State Crime Lab and was employed as a Supervisor at the Wausau lab.  Kim loved her cats and dogs, enjoyed reading and was an avid bird watcher and gardener.  She is survived by six siblings, Bev (Dwight) Whitlatch, Ankeny, IA, Linda (Roger) Thomas, Apple Valley, MN, Randy (Shirley) Vonnahme, Ankeny, IA, Keith (Nancy) Vonnahme, Farmington, MN, her twin sister, Karla Vonnahme, Prior Lake, MN, Kay Vonnahme, Grimes, IA, sister-in-law, Loretta Sloss, Stuart, IA; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  Besides her parents, Kim was preceded in death by one brother, Allan.  Cremation and a memorial service occurred in Wausau, WI, last November.  A memorial luncheon and graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 11th, in the church hall of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish at 19481 140th St, Mount Carmel, Iowa.  The luncheon is at noon with a graveside service at 2pm.
