Margaret Mohr

Margaret Mohr of Manning died on Wednesday morning, November 28, 2012, at the Manning Regional Healthcare Center following a battle with cancer. She was 65 years, 10 months and 5 days of age. Margaret Beth, daughter of Delbert L. and Virginia E. (Nocita) Stacey, was born January 23, 1947, at Omaha, NE. She graduated from Central High School and took vocational training as a cook as well as CNA classes. Margaret worked as a bartender in the Omaha area. On August 2, 1984, Margaret was united in marriage with Calvin R. Mohr Jr. at Omaha, NE. They lived in Omaha and Cumberland, IA, before moving to Manning in 1987. Margaret worked at the Carroll Health Center from 1989 to 1996. Although she enjoyed reading and sewing, Margaret's favorite activity by far was spending time with her grandkids and her whole extended family. Margaret is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband Calvin Mohr of Manning; children: Richard Stacey of Port Huron, MI; Fred Stacey (Heather) of Hutchinson, MN; and Virginia Wanser (Donnie) of Manning; grandchildren, including Elizabeth, Dylan, Katie, Abby, Tyler, and Austin; siblings: Rev. Tony Stacey (Rev. Judy) of Finley, NV; Gayle Paeper of Aurora, CO; Delbert Stacey (Connie) of Eau Claire, WI; and Michael Stacey (Shelly) of Lincoln, NE; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
