Nancy Ann Leib

Nancy Ann Leib, daughter of Edward Russell and Maxine (Nance) Weilenman, was born July 14, 1954, in Omaha, Nebraska. She attended school in Omaha and graduated from North High School.

On April 21, 1984, Nancy was united in marriage with Daryl Dean Leib. After settling in Kimballton, the couple drove semi-truck as a team for many years.

Nancy was a devoted wife and mother to her daughter, Laura Lynn. In her spare time, she enjoyed camping, cooking, and spending time outdoors. She especially treasured time with her four grandchildren.

Nancy passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the age of 71 years, 9 months, and 20 days under hospice care at her brother’s home in Avoca.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Maxine Weilenman; her husband, Daryl Leib, in 2022; her brothers, Ed Weilenman and Earl Redding; and her sister, Sharon Hayes.

She is survived by her daughter, Laura Madden (friend Donald Jacobsen) of Carroll; her grandchildren, Alina, Kyrsten, Keagan, and Davion; her brothers, Ernie (Mary) Redding of Omaha and Richard (Patty) Weilenman of Avoca; along with nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Graveside services, hosted by the family, will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church Cemetery near Kimballton. Family and friends are invited to meet at 10:00 a.m. at Kimballton City Hall to process to the cemetery together. A luncheon will be held immediately following the graveside service at Kimballton City Hall.
