Oliver Anthony "Bud", son of Fred G. and Anna (Vorsten) Mosman was born on December 20, 1925 in Carroll, Iowa. He attended Carroll High School. Bud was drafted into the United States Navy and served throughout the Pacific during World War II. After his discharge he returned to Carroll. On November 12, 1946 Bud was united in marriage with Donna Mae Renze at Saints Peter and Paul's Church in Carroll. They made their home in Carroll where Bud worked as a car salesman for the Ford dealership for many years. Bud served on the Carroll City Council and was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, Knights of Columbus and American Legion. He also served as a volunteer for Kuemper Schools. Bud enjoyed woodworking, handyman work and having coffee with his friends. Bud had a tremendous sense of humor and will be remembered for his jokes and storytelling. In 1984 Donna died and Bud remained at his home in Carroll until he became a resident of Regency Park Nursing Home in September 2011. He died there on Friday, January 25, 2013, at the age of 87 years, one month and five days. Bud was preceded in death by his parents; infant son John Gerard Mosman; siblings: Marcellus "Jack" Mosman, Aldura "Sally" Allen, Modesta "Chub" Olberding, Phyliss Schrad, Marilyn Leiting, Raymond Mosman, Lucille Mosman, Maxine Mosman, Evelyn Mosman, Darwin Mosmanand Lowell Mosman and father and mother in law: Fred and Frances Renze. He is survived by his children: Sheryl and husband Stan Henrich; Michael Mosman and wife Barbara; Denise and husband Ron Schmitz; David Mosman and wife Larie all of Carroll and Mary and husband Dr. Paul Glowacki of Fremont, Nebraska; 14 grandchildren; 5 greatgrandchildren; siblings: Joyce Feramisco from San Marcos, California and Robert Mosman from Buena Park, California; sisters in law: Virginia Knobbe of Templeton; Marlene Siepker of Manning and Joyce Schneider of Arizona; Goddaughter Renee Peters from Bend, Oregon, nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. In lieu of flowers Bud's family requests that memorials be made to Kuemper Catholic Schools or to Holy Spirit Church. Rev. Timothy Johnson & Rev.
