Rhonda Daugherty

Rhonda Elaine Daugherty, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at the age of 69 years, 11 months, and 19 days. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and beautiful memories that will be cherished by all who knew her.

Rhonda was born on September 13, 1956, in Kansas City/Independence, Missouri, to Franklin and Norma (Thomas) Bartlett. She attended William Chrisman High School.

Rhonda shared 19 years of marriage with her husband, Williford “Dudley” Daugherty. She was a devoted mother to Rachel Bratt and Andrew Freeman and was blessed with two grandchildren; Jacob and Noah Bratt, who brought great joy to her life. She is also survived by her siblings, Sandra Blacksmith and Danny Bartlett, along with extended family and dear friends who will deeply miss her. She is preceded in death by her parents Franklin and Norma (Thomas) Bartlett. 

For approximately 12 years, Rhonda worked for AT&T in the telephone service industry. Outside of work, she found happiness in the simple things she loved most. She enjoyed gardening, baking, traveling, and trips to Branson, and she had a special love for her cats.

Rhonda had a beautiful and distinctly feminine sense of style. She loved all things pink and floral, and her personality shone through in the way she decorated and cared for her home.

Those who knew Rhonda will remember her for her gentle spirit, her love of family, and the warmth she brought into the lives of others. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the love and memories she created will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

A graveside service will be held in Independence, Missouri at a later date.
