Daryl Leib, age 67, of Kimballton, Iowa, passed on of natural causes on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at his home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022, from noon until 4 PM at the Kimballton City Park.

Daryl Dean Leib, son of Darrell and Ila J. (DeWitt) Leib, was born September 12, 1954 in Guthrie Center, Iowa. He grew up in Omaha, Nebraska where he started driving semi at the age of 16. Daryl then made his home in Missouri and returned to Iowa about 20 years ago to be closer to his family after his mother's passing. On April 21, 1984 Daryl was united in marriage with Nancy Wielenman. Daryl continued to drive truck and team drove with his wife Nancy for several years. He last drove for GNH of Greenfield.

Daryl worked hard and enjoyed camping and fishing with his daughter Laura and his grandchildren. He enjoyed working on projects outside. Daryl was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather.

Daryl is survived by his wife Nancy Leib of Kimballton; daughter Laura Lynn Leib Madden of Harlan; four grandchildren: Alena, Kyrsten, Keagon and Davion; siblings: Deborah and husband Tom Kozoil of Ida Grove; Kathy Cunningham of Kansas; Kevin Cunningham of Lantha, MO; Sandy Leib of Council Bluffs; Suzette Leib of Council Bluffs; and Cindy Poffenbarger of Council Bluffs; Kelly Bartlet of Atlantic; and by many other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his parents, and brothers Gary Leib and Billy Leib.
